Today we celebrate 120years of passion for engines and engineering. On November 1, 1905, exactly 120 years ago, Carl Baguhn founded his first workshop in Hamburg, laying the foundation for what we are today. A globally operating company for both land and marine applications.

From the very beginning, we Baguhners have stood for what our founder embodied:

Whether it’s a 5 HP outboard motor on a private sailboat or a 90,000 HP two-stroke engine powering a 24,000 TEU container vessel, we get them all running again.
